Sharing inspirations and experiences forum for principals, teachers, supervisors, lectures, communities, and students in developing a successful school

The PRIORITAS Literacy Award

United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Ministry of Education and Culture (MOEC), through USAID PRIORITAS program, has been partnering to improve access to quality basic education.

One of the partnership programs is to improve the students' reading skill and reading culture. The reading culture program implemented in USAID PRIORITAS partner schools has successfully built the students' reading habit.

The success cannot be separated from the support of the city/district governments who had programmed specific literacy activities in schools and in the communities. To give appreciation to USAID PRIORITAS partner districts who have been supporting and developing the reading culture program, MOEC gave the PRIORITAS Literacy Award to 19 USAID PRIORITAS partner districts/cities.
